  1. Get colorfulbeads and learn them as you go when they learn that color they can put it on the necklace thats what I was thought. I hope this helps you I know it helps me every year

  2. Take the kids on a nature walk and they can choose one thing to bring back: pebble, feather, flower etc. Each kid has a lunch bag to put in with their name on it. Then YOU and helpers hot glue their item on a ribbon or leather strip as boys may not like ribbon. They can choose. Have additional embellishments they choose for you to hot glue on.

  3. mycraftbook.com

  4. I buy Big Ziti noodles dye them using 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol and several drops of food coloring. Mix the alcohol and food coloring in an old plastic butter container.  Next pour into a gallon zip lock bag add noodles shake till coated (keep in mind the colors will vary being that the noodles are uncooked and a yellow color) line a cookie sheet with wax paper and spread noodles out to dry (about 3 hours).

Use yarn that has been cut to the best size for the children, tie 1 noodle to the end as a stopper(string on yarn tie end of yarn to yarn on back side of noodle)  have children then continue to string noodles as many or little as they may want. Tie when through.

REMIND CHILDREN TO NOT PUT NOODLES IN MOUTH!!!

  5. it is simple: gather all the materials needed. nylon string, diameter enough to fit in the hole of the beads. insert each bead in the successions that you want and the length you desire. knot the nylon string together at the end and your done.

  6. Uncooked pasta such as macaroni is good.  Children can paint the macaroni or stick glitter on it (use PVA glue), and thread the elastic through themselves.

  7. Try these sites I get a lot of my craft and art ideas from these sites, I hope they work for you!

  8. Well first spread out things such as frootloops, cherios, pasta with a hole in the middle, and things like that. Then have the child pick out the items they like then start just putting in on a string that will fit around his/her neck.

  9. try cereal like fruit loops or noodles they work well

  10. colored straws and colored noodles and cut outs of any holiday shape will make a great yarn necklace.
