Can someone help me with care of a broken Dracaena Fragrans?

One week ago I purchased some plants and one I believe was damaged during delivery. My Mass Cane has three stalks, the middle size stalk has two palms/fronds growing, they both broke/bent right at the base where it protrudes from the stalk, both are brown and bruised around the bend. How do I properly trim the two dying palms/fronds so that the stalk can regenerate new growth with healthy leaves?

  1. Dracaena plants are very hardy and are slow growing.  So, on the bent fronds, you could just cut those where they have broken off from the main stalk.  You could then put those cut off fronds in a rooting solution and plant these in small pots or you could put these in water for these to root.  It will take at least a month for the roots to come out and when they do, you could add these new plants to the mother plant.  It will look fuller and will have a better staggered height from short to tall. Trim the brown parts of the leaves off to make the leaves look healthy and follow the care instructions on the care and maintenance of the plant.
