Can someone help me with getting rid of sow bugs?

My flooring is on a concrete slab and I am getting tons of these bugs on a regular basis. I have used bug spray and it helps for a short time, but a few days later they are back again. They seem to get in spider webs. Are they in any way akin to the spiders or is this coincidence? Your help will be appreciated.

  1. Could always pore gasoline on it and light a match???  Well you asked for a solution bout the bugs?  You didn't say anything bout not damaging the surrounding but; it should not hurt the concrete?

  2. Sow bugs are isopods, harmless to humans and homes.

They're coming in because they can, and because your concrete slab is cool and moist.

  3. My mother used to put bay leaves down on the basement floor against the walls.  As far as I could tell, the sow bugs would eat the leaves and die, but I don't think this actually repelled the bugs.  This kept sow bugs from crawling all over the house, but we did have to vacuum up the dead ones.
