This is not a quiz question to which I know the answer.

The Q is - a few years back when Mick Malthouse was coaching the West Coast Eagles a player transferred from a Melbourne team (Richmond I think - but not certain) He was a rover & played one game with WCE. He kicked a goal with his first kick.

He interupted Malthouse when Mick was making his quarter time addresss to the players. Mick dragged him from the gground at that same break &t he player never set foot on the ground as an Eagles player again. He finished off the season in the WAFL, I think, but returned to Vic at the end of thear as Mick didn't want anyone in the team who acted in such a manner & interupt him.

It has been the subject of discussion at work but no-one can recall this bloke's name. Is there any old Eagles fans out there who can assist??!!

  4. Just trying to rack by brain here.

    one game you say, hmmm.

OK, the only one that sort of fits your description who i can think of from Richmond, (if it was Richmond)  I'm not sure if he only played one goal though, what about Trent Nichols, he was a classy sort of left footer, not a bad player when he was up and going.

Almost certain it was Trent Nichols  but he played a few more than 1 game, no more than 5-6  though i wouldn't think, he went on to North,  then 6 years after leaving the tigers he was back there, he definately finished his career off at tigerland.
