Can someone help me with joomla?

Hi,

I spent the whole day trying to figure out information on joomla. I have created my site using iweb and want to add in a polls section and have login for users. I have downloaded joomla but have no idea if I can even use it with iweb or what I am supposed to do. Can anyone help me with this?

If you mean iweb as in iweb.com, there documentation says that they support Joomla!. You can probably set it up through their control panel.

If you mean iweb as in a Mac, Joomla! is its own content management system with built-in (and add-on) WYSIWIG page editors and probably will not interoperate with iweb (disclaimer: I'm not on a Mac, so I can't say for sure).

Setting up Joomla! in a non-"cpanel" (web hosting control panel) or similar environment typically requires at least basic knowledge of how to configure your web server (e.g. Apache), database (MySQL), and sometimes PHP to tweak settings.
