Can someone help me with log equations?

I have to finish a packet for school before the end of the summer. I have forgotten a lot of things in the packet. Can you help me with these problems?

  1. Instead of dealing with the questions directly I will tell you want you need to use to solve them.

    1) if a^b = c then log(base a)c = b

    2) log(base a)b - log(base a)c = log(base a)b/c

    3) same as 2 but you also must realise that if both sides are logarithmic functions to the same base then the things being logged must be equal i.e.

    if log(base a)(x - 6) = log(base a)(76)

    then x - 6 = 76
