I'm 16 years old, 5'8",and 120pounds and a male, I'm looking into doing Motocross. So I need help picking a bike. I want a Suzuki to race with but I'm unexperienced. So I'm not sure if I should stay with a Suzuki or another company. So I need as much help as possible.

Thanks in advance

  1. your probably gonna need a 250f or a 125 2 stroke (id get the 250f) and you can still get a suzuki thare no different from any other brand but i wouldnt get a ktm cuz the parts are alot more expencive than others. the bike you should get is a RM-Z 250f. good luck.

  2. I also will go with the 250F

    KTM is just marketing

  3. KTM makes the best dirtbikes, plain and simple. Look into some of those, and like previously stated, you either need a 250 4 stroke or a 125 2 stroke, possibly bigger.

  4. For a first bike I would get the rm125 The reason I say it is the bike is easier to ride than the four stroke it starts easier it is easier and cheaper to fix. Now this is coming for a 45+ vet that rides a 250 f

  5. You would need to look at a 250f as you are too old for racing anything smaller.  Any of the known brands is fine for a beginner and one particular brand, over another will not make a difference as you won't be riding the bike to optimum.  Do make sure you get some lessons if possible and don't attempt to race till you have quite a bit of seat time on the bike as they are quite powerful and you need to know what you are doing first.

  6. Get an RM125
