Can someone help me with the hypothesis?

Question

Okay, so this is for my Science class, because right now we're learning about the scientific method.

Topic: The Growth Of Plants.

Independent Variable: Fertilizer

Dependent Variable: The height of the plants

Control: Water and sunlight

So what could my hypothesis be? Thank you guys!

Always write hypotheses in the If... then... format.  

Example:  If I keep answering questions on yahoo answers, then my face will fall off.  

Then I would go onto to answer for 5 hours and determine if my face fell off.  Don't make it too hard.  You can make a hypothesis about ANYTHING with that information.

The height of the plants depends on the amount of water, sunlight and fertilizer given.

The plants given greater amounts of water, sunlight and fertilizer will grow quicker and taller

If i add water, sunlight, and fertilizer to the plants, then they will grow tall

whether the lack of water and sunlight can be supplemented by fertilizer.

then do the tests, and prove or disprove if the plants can live on fertilizer alone.

or play around with the concept. limit water but give tons or fertilizer and sunlight, or vice versa.
