Can someone help me with the picture size of my TV? Up until two weeks ago my TV picture was the correct size

I have already tried the aspect ration button. The picture cuts off no matter what aspect it is. I looked all through the user manual and couldn't find anything. Can someone please help me. It is an Insignia 51 inch HD 1080 LCD tv. Just bought it about 7 months ago. It was working just fine until about two weeks ago. I have it hooked up to HDMI cables but don't think that has anything to do with the problem. Please help! thanks

If you are using a set-top box (cable or satellite), maybe by accident you changed the aspect ratio on the BOX (not the TV).  Most set-top boxes have aspect controls as well.
