  1. Fe2O3 +H20 --> Fe2O3·xH2O. This is rust and it consists of hydrated iron(III) oxide Fe2O3·xH2O in it. It is also known as Ferric oxide or Hematite and it's density is 5.24 g/cm³. It's solid, insoluble in water and dark red in color. Visit this wikipedia link for more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron(III)_o...

  2. Actually

    Fe2O3 + 3H2O --> 2Fe(OH)3

    you mean haematite

  3. Fe2O3 + 3H2O --> 2Fe(OH)3

    when a metallic oxide combines with water, a metallic hydroxide (it's basic) is formed. :)
