  1. XT=12, then T = 12/X

    ZX=21, then Z= 21/X

    TZ = (12/X) * (21/X) = 252/X^2

  2. XT = 12

    X = 3 and T = 4

    ZX= 21

    T = 7 and X = 3

    TZ = 28

    4 x 7 = 28

  3. XT = 12 therefore T=12/X

    ZX = 21  X has to go into both 21 and 12 so must be 3

    T therefore = 4

    Z = 21/X = 21/3 = 7

    TZ = 7 x 4 = 28

  4. Cannot be determined from the information given.  We can write T = 12/X, and Z = 21/X, which would give TZ = 252/X^2, but we have no constraints on the value of X.

  5. I believe  you are talking about 3 lines/segments.  If this is the case, then the answer is as follows:

    Since T is between X and Z, and you know ZX = 21 and XT = 12,

    so, XT + TZ = XZ = ZX

    ==> 12 + TZ = 21

    ==> TZ = 21-12

    ==> TZ = 9
