Can someone help me write a letter to landlord requesting a generator for elevators when power goes out?

Dear Mr./Mrs. Landlord:

    

     I would like a generator installed for the elevator in case of a power outage.  Please feel free to bill me for any expenses this may incur as I am fully aware that this is not required by law.

You can write any sort of letter you desire, but the landlord is under no obligation to provide a generator to keep the elevators running in the event of a power outage.

Assuming there are stairways, that is what you need to use until the power supply returns.

You can do just about anything you want, but you’d probably have to have a certified disability that prevents you from using the stairs to make them act on it.
