  1. My daughter is 16 months old and she finally just started walking on her own without assistance last week.  She's been cruising and walking with her walker since about 13 months.

    Don't worry.  She'll walk when she's ready.

    :-))))

  2. shes doing fine you really don't need any help. get her a push toy and make sure ther are no sharp corner exposed let her have fun she'll be wlaking on her own in no time

  3. I read somewhere that 3/4 of babies start walking after 14 months. Don't worry it will come.

My daughter started walking at 13 1/2 months. It felt like one day she figured out how to do it. She never really practiced or tried it on her own, and one day she decided to do it and since then she's going non-stop!

  4. Try getting her a push toy, something that she can hold on to and walk with until she finds her balance, kind of like a walker. But don't worry if she doesn't start walking rite away, I've heard of kids that didn't start walking until 2 or so.

  5. This is normal. The average child starts walking between 11 and 16 months. Now a days people-unfortunately- are in a hurry for their children to walk. 30/40 years ago it was normal not to walk until 14 to 18 months. If she is cruising and walking with help, then she is practicing for when she is ready. She will walk in her own time. Enjoy the fact that she is not walking around and getting into things yet. She will pull on things, throw them around and make lots of messes because she can get around more. enjoy this time.

  6. She will probably start walking pretty soon.  All babies have there own pace.  If she is cruising, then she is probably just fine.  My daughter was a little over 13 months.  The doctor said they don't start to worry about it until the 15 month checkup.  That is when they start to be a little behind.
