Okay, so my family is from Italy and we have a very unique last name in our family tree and I'm curious as to what it translates to in English. The name is Lapicerella (pronounced like La Pitcher-ella here, but I'm sure the pronunciation is different in Italy) and there are many minor variations of it like Lapiccirella or Lapicirella, etc. It is a pretty localized surname from the Foggia area of the Apulia region of southeast Italy (we always called it the "ankle of the boot" area). Also, I've seen it spelled LaPiccirella. Another family surname that I'm wondering as to the meaning of is Dacci (also Daccia or D'Acci), it is another surname pretty isolated to Foggia. If anyone knows Italian and could translate any of these names I'd really appreciate it!
