Could you please tell me what type of Pleco that is and what it like to eat. (Type of Vegie)

  1. Looks like a Bullnose or Rubbernose pleco. Those can grow to be about 5" long. They eat algae in the aquarium as well as algae wafers, lettuce leaves and spinach.

    They grow up to about 6" in the home aquarium, and 10 gallons should be sufficient enough for them. They're like any other pleco, they eat algae, spinach, lettuce, zucchini, cabbage, etc.

    There are many other Plecos that look like Rubbernoses, so it may not be exactly a Rubbernose.
