  1. My neighbor had those and the aroma of the flower was wonderful!  But, when I asked her what they were, she told me Morning Glories.  That didn't make sense to me, because they opened in the evening.  But, who knows.  You could do a web search on Morning Glories and see if that's what it really is.  Those pods are full of seeds if I remember correctly.

    If this is it, it is highly toxic.  Sacred to certain tribes of native Americans.   Kids trying to catch a buzz off this plant have died or suffered blindness.    


  3. those are angel trumpets.  The blooms are gorgeous but the seed pods look like blown up pufferfish with lots of extra spines!  Yikes!
