ok so i was playing tennis with my mom and baby brother, and an indian women walks up to us and asks when we would be done. We tell her that we'll be playing for about 30 Min or so, and she says ok and walks away. Then about 10 min later i guess her husband arrives. And by now my baby brother is practicing tennis So he walks over to us and says "Are you playing a match?" and he can clearly see that my baby brother was practicing. And he says " Because we have a match to play today and we HAVE to play today." this happened at a recreational tennis court that was in the park.

  1. It all depends on the rules of the club where you play!

If you have to reserve the court or not, if you reserve the court for an hour then no one can put you off! unless he was the one to reserve it!

Then as I said all depends on the rules.

  2. There's rules that the courts have, which are expected to be followed.

I don't think it was within their rights to ask you to leave. The tennis courts have a 30 min limit here when someone else is waiting, otherwise you can stay on as long as you want.

and no you do not HAVE to leave, just because they have a match. You have every right to be on, provided you follow the rules.

That's as much as I can tell you without knowing the rules of your courts.

    Good luck!
