I want to move to Australia and I know a lot about the visas they offer. They don't seem to offer a visa for someone who wants to live there, work at a normal job (lets say a restaurant), and then apply for citizenship later and also study later (around 6 months after moving there).

To apply for citizenship you need to be living there for 5 years but how can you live there legally for 5 years if most of the visas expire within 12 months?
