Can someone offer me tips for growing pansies?

Do I add fertilizer to the soil when planting in a pot? When/how often to fertilize/water, etc..

Watering depends on the pot,  if you put them in the ground you can go every other day if the sun is not cooking them.  If you put them in a pot you should water them daily.  Make sure if you put them in a pot you give the water a place to drain out,  or your roots will rot.

Bag soil has some fertilizer in it but if you are planting them into dirt use some fertilizer (a sprinkle is fine)

I use potting soil with plant food. Keep them out of direct sunlight until it gets cooler.
