Obviously Medicare would be the insurance of choice but if for whatever reason you are not eligible for Medicare you can buy private health insurance if you are healthy.

I don't know of any private health insurers that will give primary coverage to anyone over 65.  That's what Medicare is for.

A Broker represents multiple carriers and can help you find provider that will cover someone over age 65. Don't call your auto and home agent they specialize in property and causality insurance.
