"Sit,worthy friends. My lord is often thus, And hath been from his youth. Pray you, keep seat. The fit is momentary; upon a thought He will again be well. If much you note him, You shall offend him and extend his passion. Feed and regard him not.-Are you a man?

  1. He often has these episodes, and it would be better if you ignore it. Continue eating, and ignore it, or you'll make his behaviour worse.

  2. Lady macbeth is stating that she has no respect for her husband. By saying sit and "my lord is often thus", she is stating he is sitting and has been from youth, she is mocking him, saying he is not a man and never was and can't take control of the situation.

When she says, "The fit is momentary", she is saying his "fit" is just a passing thing, she's telling everyone to ignore him.  When he sees the ghost of Banquo and is yelling at an empty chair. She cannot see the ghost. She is saying to everyone stay seated this is just a passing "fit".Don't give him any attention or sympathy.

Then she outright asks him, "are you a man?", she has lost all respect, this is the lowest thing you could ask a man.
