so heres a story and question.sorry if it is long.okay so i am changing districts different district form jr. high to high school because in jr. high people got on me way to much because theres only a couple people of my race there so i cant go to the same district in high school i am going to a district and i can stand racismm so i am going to a school of more of my race soracismmm wont happen and the problem is i have to take the bus because my dad cant take me because has to work and it is about 40 min away and i have to walk a big hill and a while away just to get to the bus and i am scared to go early and someonee try to get me in the car or something,what can i do to protect myself like moves or somethingg.thanks for listening and answering

Shame on your parents for not finding you better transportation. How old are you that you have to be scared of being picked on? That's horrible. I would talk to your Dad to do something else because being scared and doing karate chops on dangerous people is not a good way to go.

Are you sure it was REALLY racism?  I remember trying to date back in the early to mid 1980s, just about ever girl claimed she'd been abused.  After talking with them for a long while, I came to realize that they had not.  It was more a matter of what was "in" at the time.  When I was at the university, I went to a class on slavery.  So many dropped out when the professor stated only facts and would not pander to popular belief.

As a parent who moved around a lot, I made it a point to check out the new city where we'd be moving.  I'd explore the various neighborhoods and schools and then move into one where I'd be on the low end of the pay scale -- meaning my son would be attending school with more well educated, well to do kids.  Life's not easy when you are "poor."   Others would make fun of him for not having the designer brand name garbage.  And on more than one occasion, he got his hind end handed to him.  I put him there because I love him.  Perhaps you should reassess your perspective and the way you conduct yourself and then stay in the school your father provided.  Not exactly the answer you were hoping for.  Sorry.
