Can someone please compare the Suzuki SX4, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Yaris, and Honda Fit?

I would like an economy car that's cheap enough for the city and able to handle country roads, as well as enough fuel efficiency to allow for long roadtrips : - ).

You should add the Scion XD (made by Toyota) to your list.....better than the Yaris, about equal to the Fit but for less money.....I'm loving mine...I get about 29mpg around town....(about 40 on the highway)

The Fit and Yaris are much more like each other than the Impreza and SX4.

The Fit and Yaris are underpowered, totally for economy.

I bought an '09 Corolla- the best of both worlds.
