  1. Fastweb is  database of scholarships that are offered nationally...some even globally.

    To use the site, you simply make a username and set up an account (which is secure and legitimate) and then search for scholarships that pertain to you and your interests.

    Though it is a great place to start looking at scholarship opportunities, realize that you are competing with THOUSANDS of other people.

    Make sure that you pursue scholarships that are specifically set up for students like you; for example;

    - if you're interested in math, look for scholarships for just math majors

    - if you're a minority, look for scholarships reserved just for minorities... etc.

    This will increase your chances because you're competing with a smaller pool of people.

    The BEST place to look for scholarships is through the University or college that you are applying to.

    Fill out your FAFSA to see if you are going to get any state or federal aid.

    Check out the college's website for aid and scholarships that they offer, and apply for them (EARLY).

    Also, one place you might want to check out is your state lottery website. Depending on where your from, some states (like NY) offer Lottery scholarships that can be renewed for up to 4 years. These aren't that well known, so you have good chances.

    Please let me know if I can help you out anymore.
