Can someone please explain the ball ranking and order of shots for the game of Snooker?

I have been away from the game for years and have forgotten the shooting order.

  1. red-any colour,red any colour and so on until all the reds are potted.

    then yellow,green,brown,blue,pink and black-Finish.

    Reds=1

    yellow=2

    green =3,

    brown=4

    blue =2

    pink =6

    black=7

    Total ''clearance ''= 147


  2. Pasky above said it. Except Blue = 5, not 2.

    So starting Red > Black 15 times = 120

    Then shooting yellow through black = 27. Hence, 147. Maximum break.
