Can someone please explain to me what the EPCOT center is?

can someone explain IN DEPTH what the EPCOT center of florida is? i know it has to do with disneyworld..but what exactly is it? a bunch of theme parks in one?

Epcot is a park in disneyworld, you see, disneyworld has four parks magic kingdom, animal kingdom, mgm studios, and EPCOT. So the four parks has different rides in it and blahblahblah, epcot has different rides, stores, and shows, its a park more for adults it doeesnt have alot of kiddy rides in it. its ONE PARK, its oned of the four parks of disney world.

Go to Disney.go.com.  There are lots of details on the parks that are at Walt Disney World.  Also, you can order a free DVD about Disney World.  EPCOT is a wonderful amusement park.  Disney World is made up of 4 amusement parks and 2 water parks.  EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Disney Studios and Animal Kingdom are the amusement parks.  Each requires separate admission or a "hopper pass" with which you can go from park to park.  EPCOT is just one theme park, but it has two sections, one of which is futuristic and the other of which is about different countries.  It's a lot of fun!

EPCOT is the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.  It is 1 of the 4 main Theme parks that make up Walt Disney World.  Just as with the other parks it has a mix of Rides, Shops, Entertainment and Restaurants.  Unlike the other parks there is probably more of an emphasis on the Restaurants, especially in the World Showcase Area.

It has two main sections World Showcase & Future World.   In General Wold Showcase is dedicated to different cultures around the world.  Future World is dedicated to technology and science.

EPCOT is one of the four theme parks that make up Disney World  - - it has rides, shows, wonderful restaurants & shopping (I love the Japanese Department Store!).
