  1. a command system is a system that allocates its resources by central planning, i.e. government orders and directions.

a market system is a system that uses market forces, i.e. market price,to solve its problems of resources allocation.

a mixed system is a system in which some resources are owned privately and some are owned by the government and also some problems of resources allocation are solved by market force while some by central planning plus some by custioms and traditions.

  2. Havn't got a clue.  I suspect some socialists have been tinkering with the free market.
