  1. Depending upon how many days your cycles are in length. You usually ovulate somewhere mid cycle. For me, I ovulate around day 20, because I have long cycles. You are fertile 3-4 days before you actually ovulate. When your cervical fluid becomes thick and white you are more then likely ovulating. If your cervical fluid is thick/thin and clear (lots of it) you are more then likely getting ready to ovulate and are very fertile.

If you are wanting to get pregnant I would suggest having s*x at least two times a day everyday for the next 4-5 days. This would up your chances.

You can also go to this web-site http://www.mymonthlycycles.com/home.jsp

you will be able to track your periods, it also has a ovulation calculator that calculates when your next ovulation should be. All of these tools are free of charge if you choose the free plan.

  2. No, not just because it is 14 days after your period means you are ovulating. It all depends on how long your cycle is and most people don't ovulate the same time each month. You can alway be a few days off. if the discahrge is clear and can string it out between your fingers then yes you could be ovulation. But usually if if it is white which most girls have throughout their cycle that does not mean you are ovulating.

If you seriously want to get pregnant STOP TRYING! when you stop trying and don't think about it it will happen. It will happen when God says it is right for you.

    Good luck Hope I helped.

  3. if you want to get pregnant then stop trying you will get pregnant when you least expect it good luck

  4. If you're ovulating now, you should take advantage of the moment and try having s*x. It may be too late, but you can always give it a try.

It's crazy...here you are, trying your hardest to get pregnant..and then on Yahoo answers, you see 13 year olds posting  questions about how they became pregnant, whether they should or should not have the baby, and how they're so scared because their parents are going to find out and the kicker is...they weren't even trying to get pregnant in the first place!

It's almost a joke, really. Just as a little story, My husband and I tried to conceive for a while year. Last year around Thanksgiving time, it finally happened. I think it wasn't happening for a whole year because I was stressing so much over it. I kept thinking about the baby. I kept counting days, researching my ovulation charts, reading about all kinds of crazy methods to conceive a child. I had baby on the brain. Finally in November last year, I gave up. I had a move to think about. I had to pack things, clothes, furniture...had to get an apartment, start paying new bills with my husband, make a road trip to our new state..things were hectic and I forgot about baby-making, and somewhere around that time, it happened. I think when you are anticipating a child, your body isn't going to respond only because of how the stress hormones are high even though you don't know it. And this can even put your cycle off. It sucks, really. I have some really helpful sites for you though..you should check them out:

Good luck..I know it's so freakin frustrating...but it will happen. Like I said, we tried for a year..now I'm 37 weeks and almost ready to say Hello to my own little one. I do wish you the best.

  5. If you are ovulating now that is the best time to get pregnant. Sounds like you are ovulating. Alot of times I can tell when I am ovulating by a pinching pain where my legs connect at the top by my hips. Discharge is a good sign also.

  6. Anyone who has a regular cycle ovulates on the same day each cycle (the 14th day for example). If your cm looks like an eggwhite or you can stretch it between your fingers then yes! It's a good time to try. Although, it can't hurt to BD anyway! :)

  7. Well, while it is most common for women to ovulate 14 days after their period ends, that is not always the case. Sometimes a lot of discharge could mean you have already ovulated. I know, for me, I had s*x on a tuesday then on wednesday I noticed a clear stringy, stretchy discharge.  Thing is, I had my period only one week befor ethat. Guess what I am now 7 weeks almost 8 weeks pregnant. And I just had my son around the same time you did. I believe we had the same due date, if I remember right. We weren't planning it and it just happened.

The point is, there is never a 100% foolproof way to tell when you ovulate. I was keeping track of when I thought I was ovulating and avoiding s*x on those days. It worked for a while. But here I am now, preggers again. (Hopin for a girl this time round..lol) Good Luck.
