This is my first ESL class and want to make a good impression on my students. What are things that I can do to keep my grade 4 students interested for 50 minutes?

  2. put the different terms on large index cards.  let each student hold a card and then present problems where the person with the correct card must stand up.

    i'm sure if you go to some teaching websites they will have other ideas, too.

    bringing in technology would be good, too.  maybe have the students create a relevant powerpoint??
