Can someone please give me the list of things a male teacher can't do or say to a female student?

Don't say anything sexual, whether implied between you and the student, the student and her boyfriend/husband, the student and another girl, or the student and some vague presumed s*x life.

Don't flirt.

Don't use the student as an example in class of something inappropriate (I had a hospitality law class in which the professor substituted my name for every underaged girl staying in a hotel with an older man when it burned down, every prostitute kicked out of the lobby, etc.  I was so mortified I was paralyzed all semester).

Don't overcompliment - especially the student's body in any way or clothes which are covering body parts which it could be assumed were what you were really complimenting ("You really fill out that sweater!").

Don't imply that the student's aims and opportunities in life will be different from that of male students ("Well, you guys may run for office some day, but by then Kayla here will be popping out one kid after another and won't be interested in those things any more!")

They shouldn't do anything that can be construed as being "wrong". They also shouldn't do anything that makes the female uncomfortable.

1.) sexual teasing, jokes, remarks or gestures

2.) letters, phone calls, or material of a sexual nature

3.) sexually suggestive looks or gestures

4.) deliberate touching, brushes up against, leaning over, cornering, or pinching

5.) being shown, given, or left unwanted pictures or notes

6.) being spied on while one dressed or showered at school

7.) Male teachers cannot tell a female student/s that they need to pull their shirt up (to cover), only a female teacher can.

8.) Spending EXTRA time w/ u and not your other peers.

9.) Ask them personal questions.
