Question:

Can someone please give me tips on how to properly pack a hookah bowl with tobacco?(see details)?

When i pack the hookah bowl and start smoking after about 15 minutes it starts tasting burnt and when i remove the tinfoil the top layer is almost always burnt (charred) and sticks to the tinfoil! how can i solve this problem? if you could provide as much detail as you can that'd be nice! thanks

  1. I didn't know you could use tobacco in a hookah bowl.  


  2. Well this is assuming you are using a good tobacco.

    Place some your tobacco on a plate and break it up as best you can. Then pick up some tobacco with your index, middle, and thumb and drop it in the bowl. Keep repeating until the bowl is full and just barely over the rim of the bowl. Now place the foil over the top of the bowl and make it tight. Oh yeah Shiny Side Down. Then take a tooth pick and poke holes all over the thing.

    Now this part is key! Heat Management.

    If you are using quicklights, Break them in halves and place three halves in a triangle pattern and move them about every 15 minutes or so to spots there where no coals.

    Naturals

    Same thing as qucklights Triangle pattern. Same general size, with coconara's they are the perfect size other might need breaking. Move them every 15 minutes as with quicklights but flip them over. Quicklights don't because of the added chemical that helps them burn evenly.
