  1. The A2 from Larne is one of, if not the longest stretches of road directly along the coast line in the UK.

It also takes you to the Giants Causway, a rare basalt rock formation.

  2. There is no such place. If you mean Northern Ireland, then perhaps we can help. Try Wikipedia.

  3. Ok.....a "spide" is a derogatory stereotype, in Northern Ireland, particularly in Belfast city, of an individual who has a particular dress code (caps, tracksuits, jewellry, and fancy trainers) and attitude (anti-social, joyriding, car jacking, etc). Spides gerally refer to young unemployed male adults from the Belfast and surrounding areas (Lisburn, Newtownabbey, Antrim, Carrick).  The name is thought to have originated in the late 70s and early 80s. During this time "tartan gangs" were popular in Belfast. Due to the tartan patterns of their jeans, they gained the nickname "spidermen", later shortened to spide.   "Spide" is applied to youths from both the loyalist and republican communities, and appears to be wholly without sectarian bias.

  4. What on earth is a "fun fact"?

  5. Fermanagh is the only county in “Northern Ireland” that doesn’t touch Lough Neagh.

The name Belfast originates from the river that the city was constructed near (the Irish Beal Feirste)
