Can someone please help me find a marriage license for?

Question

a Mark Stasik & a Charlene Shirley? I think they may have resided in NJ although I don't know what county. Charlene's birth year is 1956 & I'm not sure about Mark.

I'm afraid it won't be available to the public for several more years. You might be able to find an announcement from the newspaper, but the actual license is privileged because they're from a generation that is still alive. Only Mark and Charlene can request a copy of it from the Clerk of the Court in the county where they were married.

It's too bad that NJ marriage records on Ancestry.com are only in these collections:  "New Jersey Marriages, Colonial Era, 1665-1800" and "New Jersey Marriages, 1684-1895"...  there are other states which have public data online, up through 2002, such as Texas.
