We bought my daughter an electric guitar with a little Dinosaur DG-10 amp for Christmas, and within two weeks the amp stopped working. There is no sound at all, not even crackling or hissing, even when the cord is jiggled. It turns on with the red light and all. I don't think it's the cord because I tried plugging in one of our karaoke mics and it has no sound either. If the speaker were blown wouldn't it be making some sort of noise at least? I took off the back and all the wires seem to be in tact. I've posted a picture in case someone is handy with this stuff. It all looks foreign to me, but I can follow directions. I paid $40 bucks for this stinking amp, but unfortunately I got it off eBay and can't return it. Thanks for any help. Terri

  1. First check if the speaker is OK.Take a 9V battery and 2 wires and put the (-) on one plot of the speaker and the (+) on the other one and you must hear some cracks if the speaker is OK if not this means that the speaker is bad. Before, unplug the amp first!!!!

Also check if the fuse is OK(left upside corner, the glass tube with metal caps)!

When you are working inside the amp always unplug it!!!!

    Good luck!!!
