Question:

Can someone please help me hook up my Cable Box and DVD Player to my Really OLD TV (using an RF Modulator)?

This is what I have:

-OLD TV (has one RF Coax Cable input).

-Sasktel Cable Box (Has one Ethernet USB input - from Wall, one RF Coax Aerial IN and one RF Coax Aerial OUT, one yellow RCA Video OUT, and one red and one white RCA Audio OUT).

-DVD Player (has one yellow RCA Video OUT, and one red and one white RCA Audio OUT).

-RF Modulator (has one RF Coax TO TV, one RF Coax Antenna IN, one yellow RCA Video, and one red and one white RCA Audio).

I also have a splitter if needed. Please help!!! I have tried so many different combinations and can't get anything to work properly. THANKS for any input!!!

  1. OK, what you need to do is.

    1. RF cable coming out of wall needs to go to RF input on cablebox.

    2. Output of RF cable on cablebox goes into RF input on RF modulator

    3. RF output of RF modulator goes into RF on TV

    4. connect RCA video out and RCA audio out to RCA inputs on RF modulator

    *** make sure the output channel is the same on the modulator as it is for the cablebox
