Okay, so I had the ipod classic. Then, I restored it, because I was giving it to my dad, and I had to make it able to go on his computer. I de authorized it on my computer. BUT, when I click on one of the songs in my library, it says "WOULD YOU LIKE TO AUTHORIZE THIS SONG TO PLAY IN THIS LIBRARY?" because I had used that account to buy songs for that ipod. So yeah i got a new ipod classic and put it on my computer, except for my Apple ID, I put a different email. I just want my old account for my new ipod, what did I do???

  2. Well, first off, you can have up to five computers authorized on one itunes account, So I dont think you needed to deauthorize it. If you authorize the songs nothing will happen. You may need to sync the ipod to play on the PC, because it is new. All the songs once they are authorized will work on the new ipod. You dont have to deauthorize the ipod or reformat it, to go on a new PC, either. I switch mine around all the time from one PC to another. It depends on what setting you choose. I dont think you can deauthorzie an 'ipod' anyway just a PC, which sounds like what you did. Im not quit following your Q, so, hopfully that helped. If not you email with more details and I'll help more.
