  1. Whenever you write an objective think of what you want kids to know and be able to do.  I use SWBT for "students will be able to " count to 10.  I live in the state of Colorado and the standard is Math St. 1 Number Sense.

Your school should provide you with all standards and a curriculum for instruction.  Ask if you were not given the standards.

  2. The standards depend on what your district/state use.  Objectives: Students will be able to count from 1 to 10 on their own.

  3. well .... first you yourself must learn how to spell .

  4. How about...

The student will use whole numbers to describe and compare quantities.

The student will use one-to-one correspondence.

The student will read and write whole numbers to describe sets of concrete objects.

  5. 1:1 correspondence, rote counting 1-10, number identification, number conservation (10 is still 10 whether they are in a group, 1 line, 2 lines of 5 etc.) could be written several ways depending on your focus. not sure the standard without looking but its easy enough to find online...depart of ed in whatever state youre in.

  6. I am a Massachusetts teacher.  According to the MCAS Strands & Standards, you are looking at this:

Identify and distinguish among multiple uses of numbers, including cardinal (to tell how many) and ordinal (to tell which one in an ordered list), and numbers as labels and as measurements.

    go to http://www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/alt/resourc...

    then go to resource guidess

then go to MA curriculum frameworks

    then look in mathematics

    then go to number sense

this is a grade 1-2 skill
