Can someone please help me with this question?

i need to define reading comprehension in a 5 sentence paragraph? i know that comprehension is understanding what you read, but can someone help me create a 5 sentence paragraph is for my final. i also need to define word study/vocabulary development in a 5 sentence paragraph.....please help

You should not be asking people to help when you already understand what "comprehension" means. I suppose you are unsure how to explain. I can suggest this for you to get started. No matter how short your writing is, it needs to have a sensible structure. You are doing 5 sentences paragraph, but you will need to have a clear structure for it. I can suggest this strategy

1- Spit it out clearly in one sentence

2- Explain your first sentence clearly

I would imagine that you would need to write

"Comprehension is the understanding of what a person read, see or hear. It often refers to the ability to decode and understand languages but not only for spoken languages."

Then you would add some "blah blah" to make your explanation clearer and fill it up to 5 sentences. Some strategy can be used to explain the other word.

once you've defined 'reading comprehension' go on to elaborate in the next 4 sentences along with an example if possible.

reading comprehension would include not just being able to put together the words that one sees into a readable sentence, but being able to understand the meaning too. being able to internalize the structure & syntax & being able to explain or put in different words , if need be (which you are finding a bit tough - i suggest reading/researching some more & then internalizing ;-) )) . if you are still short on sentences, you can also add that a good way to improve RC is thru' techniques such as reportage, precis writing, etc.

for vocabulary development, start with exact academic definition (not sure of my accuracy in definition) ; explain that statement; then list a few ways or steps/methods to achieve the same & also how a teacher can help child achieve it. and how dictionary, thesaurus, etiology, encyclopedia, internet, etc. are tools that aid the same.
