Can someone please help with my headphone issue?

Question

I have a laptop that I use for work purposes. Every time I plug my headphones in the right headphone goes out. I don't have the music loud, and this has happened with three different sets. The last one was a pair of iPod headphones and with this pair took longer than the others but it went out as well. Please help.

well, it sounds (haha no pun intended) as if there is something wrong with your sound card, look for possible recalls on the laptop.  or take it to like geek squad and get them to look into it
