  1. this is a good link on bunny care

    http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/Usual-Pets-...

    to save $  you should buy your food in bulk from a livestock feed store (you ask for big bags at the feed counter)

    also always check the local shelters for adoption animals rather than buying from a store

  2. I can tell you lots about rabbits!  I have one and have had bunnies since i was two years old.  Give the bunny a big wired wall cage from the pet store and make sure the floor of isn't wire and is normal floor.  Fill the cage with bedding that you can get at any pet store.  Feed the bunny rabbit pellets that you can get at pet stores.  All of my bunnies have loved those bunny treats that are shaped like hershey kisses but are fruity tasting for them.  Feed your bunny every morning and night and make sure the bunny always has fresh water.  Clean their cage frequently or else it irritate the poor lil thing.  Keep it AWAY from wires or cords in your house, they love to nibble on random things.  They've eaten my homework in 4th grade before when i left it on the couch and walked away for a moment.  Remember, give it lots of love and be gentle.  I also know a cool way to put bunnies in a trance! If you would like to know more, just say so!

  3. Toss it a carrot, clean it's poo, pet it, and keep it in it's cage until it gets cancer.

  4. Give it a lot of bedding and change it at least once weekly. Buy rabbit food at the pet store and give it fresh foods (carrots, celery, etc.) once a day or once every other day. Make sure it has plenty of water and a dark place to hide in. They like to be outside when it's warm (watch it so it doesn't run away!) and out of their cages daily. You should also give it a salt l**k. Feel free to email me with any specific questions.

  5. If you go to the local feed store (like Big R) they should have some bunny food in these HUGE bags. if not, I find that Petsmat and others will have that kind of stuff. Depending on the size of your rabbit you also might want to think of getting an outdoor hutch. 1. because it gives the rabbit more space. and 2. because if you keep it inside it will smell. Make sure! That your Bunny is in a good climate! Rabbits have this weird thing about getting easily over-heated and freezing. Groom your rabbit at least once a mouth! They clean themselves but don't trust them completely, they just have tongues. An occasional brushing should be good, with a bath if you are planning on showing it. If you have multiple rabbits separate them by gender, please. The rumors are true. They do reproduce quickly!

    goodluck =]

  6. Here some important points;

    1. You need a hutch, if its an outdoor rabbit. At least 4 times it's size.

    2. In the hutch have water and hay for bedding and food, get some pellets.

    3. Feed it greens in the morning.

    4. It needs lots of love and attention, also exercise. Maybe build it a grazing ark.

    5. Make sure its always healthy do health checks.

    6. Your house/garden should be ready for bunnies before you pick it up.

    Get a book from the library about rabbit =)

  7. Oh. I can tell you alllll about rabbits. I've had rabbits pretty constantly since I was six.

    Keep them in a nice-sized wire cage. Feed them rabbit pellets and timothy hay. You can also feed them fresh fruits and veggies (but now cabbage). Keep a rabbit water bottle filled constantly. Add lots of love and you have a happy pet bunny.

    -Also, be careful about leaving it out in the heat. Feel free to contact me and ask me any questions.
