Can someone please tell me if the penn street station is within walking distance to union square or the irving

the distance from 42 street  to 14th street is 28 blocks.if you have the time to window shop you can walk it. Irving is 0n the east side add another      ten minutes to the walk.good luck sport.

I don't know about the irving, but it's not really walking distance to Union Square. Just hop on the train! A to 14th St, L to Union Square.
