  1. The ca$h is the differences partner ;)

  2. to add to the above answer, about gmo's (genetically modified organism)

Organic cotton is grown without pesticides , better for the land , soil and people who have to pick it or deal with it.

There are case studies of missippi of people who are so sick becuase of the pesticides from cotton farms. The gmo cotton is resistant to some pests , but remember pests can then mutate and build up a tolerance that they did not have .

  3. If you eat non-organic cotton in quantities, you will get very constipated. Oh yes, same for organic.

The problem wit some non-organic (GMO) cotton is that there have been major crop failures when the strategy of GMO failed. It seems our GMO technology does not evolve as quickly as pests do.

The GMO cotton produces its own insecticide that should have protected the crop. Some of that pesticide remains in the cotton. The amount of that pesticide obviously wouldn't hurt a fly.

China and India have had significant failures of GMO. Perhaps teh plant did not apply enough insecticide to itself.

  4. Two differences:

    1.  It uses more land to grow "organic" cotton than modern cotton.

    2.  It's more expensive because a lot of people are stupid enough to think it's better than modern cotton.

  5. Conventional cotten contains pesticides.

Organic cotton does not contain pesticides.

Conventional cotton is grown in 19 American states.

Organic cotton is grown overseas in Turkey, India and China.

Conventional cotton is inexpensive to produce.

Organic cotton costs 2 to 3 times as much to produce.

Convetional cotton uses chlorine and urea-formaldehyde for bleaching of the fibers.

Organic cotton uses all-natural oils and hydrogen peroxide to bleach the fibers.
