Can someone please tell me the name of the moss that grows around the downspouts of gutters?

This moss also grows in moist, shaded areas. It is very green, velvet-like, in little patches. If you know the common or scientific name that would be great!! Thanks!!!

There are dozens of different mosses that grow in moist areas, and in different areas of the country (world). Polytrichum is common.
