Can someone please tell me what is wrong with my Rhode Island Red hen?

My hen started laying eggs 2 days ago, and has laid two eggs in two days. Now her comb and wattle have changed from bright red to pink. Does anyone know what could be causing this.

It more than likely is a hormonal thing.

Not sure exactly... is she still laying eggs, as she should be? I'd keep an eye on her and as long as everything else seemed okay I wouldn't worry about it, but if she wasn't eating or drinking or not laying any more eggs I'd consider taking her to a vet or talking to someone at your local feed store.
