Can someone please tell me what the technical name is for the people who run the security?

checkpoint at the airport, the ones that make you take off your shoes and such. I really need to know what the technical name is for them...I am applying for that job through TSA and I cannot for the life of me remember the name of them. Please and Thank You!!

According to the TSA website, they're called Transportation Security Officers.
