Can someone please tell me why McCain DIDN'T just throw his campaign under the bus? ?

Question

How does mayor and a brief stint as governor qualify Palin to lead the country if McCain dies in office? McCain is the oldest incumbant presidential nominee and his health is not great.

Palin only has a high approval rating because she's hardly been governor a year. After the last crooked governor of course she's going to have better ratings. Remember Bush had nearly 90% approval rating his first year in office.

Now that I've laid my cards on the table, please show me yours.

I'm totally clueless as to why some REALLY believe McCain has a winning ticket.

Ok, I'll explain it to you.  

The race has been unbelievably close.  In fact at one point during OBAMA'S OWN CONVENTION, McCain took a lead over B.O. in the polls.  But there's always been this one thing, this one problem:  DEMOCRATS have been excited about their ticket....Republicans have been ho-hum about it. This did not bode well for the prospects of getting enough Republicans out to beat Obama.  Now, the GOP looks poised to steal this from Obama....because I promise you, the Republicans are absolutely JUICED!  They now have as much excitement as the Donkeys have had....And in a race that was already close, this seems to spell victory for the Republicans.

The circumstances surrounding that investigation will not diminish what she's done for the the people of the State of Alaska.  Let's not forget that Obama has surrounded himself for the last 20 years with shady characters (Rezko, Ayers, Wright).  

Obama has never been responsible for a payroll, has never operated a government and has no executive experience at all.  Sarah Palin does, plain and simple.

Women will relate to her:  She's a working mother of five, she has a special needs child, she's strong and gets things done.

Now, I've lived in Illinois all my life and I can't tell you anything that Obama has done.

McCain was not my choice for a Republican candidate but I give him full marks for his choice of a running mate.  What an inspired choice!

Sarah Palin told the old boys in Alaska when to get off!  She's tough, bright, and loves guns!  McCain hit a home run !!   And, Palin's been running for office since 1992, while Obama was.....what was Barry doing in 1992?

This is a very smart woman whom many think she will be very able to lead the country.  So build a bridge and get over it.  Give it a chance before you condemn!
