Can someone pls. remove me?

Question

from the christianstar yahoo group? the list is full of spam! i've already tried emailing the mod, after failing to unsub myself, but got no reply. my address is a_nonmus @ yahoo . com. thanks.

if you have already sent the unsubscribe e-mail, you'll no longer appear as a member to the owner or on your MY Groups lists and you are now in server-limbo. there is a great delay in that manner of leaving a group and eventually the e-mails will stop. just delete the posts as they come into your mail until they stop

Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

1.Try to unsubscribe through:

2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

Another way you can try to unsubscribe yourself is at the group homepage by going to the upper right hand corner of the site and look for a blue button that says, "Leave this Group".  Also, if you click on the section where you can see a listing of the groups you are on that says, "Edit My Groups" then when you go to the page where this group is listed look for a box that says, "Remove" and then click "Ok".  Shortly after that there should be notice that you have been removed.

If that still doesn't work I would recommend getting in touch with a Yahoo Groups customer service representative to see if they can help try to figure out what's going on.

Go to the group's  site, click on edit membership along the top.  In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out.  It may take a day to take effect.
