Can someone plz help with this computer error i have?

everytime i log on it comes up and when i do alot of other things ts a rundll32.exe appliication failed, i cant reboot my computer cuz it says i hav to restart n everytime i restart nothin ever comes up. it wont let me do alot of stuf so plz help

It sounds like you have malware on you computer what you need to do is download an antivirus program and a spy ware remover program. I will list a few free ones that work well. If you all ready have an antivirus program it may not be working so i would recommend installing a copy of av testing your system and if it finds nothing uninstall it. I would recommend doing the same thing with any spy ware programs allot of malware will disable these programs so it won't be detected. You should also do the scans in save mode as your computer boots up press f8 and select safe mode with networking and make sure the antivirus and spy ware programs are up to date.

rundll32 is part of windows but viruses use the name with an exe extension. You have to get rid of it. Try to solve the problem by booting in save mode, closing the process "RUNDLL32.EXE" and deleting the file. Before you do this, make sure you have your Windows CD so you can reload the legitimate rundll32 if necessary.
