  1. Unless you want to pay big bucks - most of the main cruise lines do not restrict kids on board. In fact many ships cater to families with kids - enticing them with special programs. There are a few adult only cruise companies but they are very upscale. Try to avoid school breaks when kids and families normally travel - go for longer, more expensive and exotic itineraries - those sailings may have a few children but not many at all compared to others in general


  2. Onboard the Windstar ships there are hardly ever children. The ships are 3 or 5 masted sail ships carrying about 150 to 300 passengers only.

    P&O Cruises have two stunning ships in their fleet which are adult only - the Artemis and the Arcadia.
