1. Can a man (single piece) take a king.

2. What happens if your opponent refuses to take one of yours. Are you allowed to huff him (remove his piece) or if he won't reverse his move and still refuses after it has been pointed out to him, is he disqualified.

  1. Well

    1) yes a single piece can take a king (as long as he is not jumping backwards).

    2) I always played that you don't HAVE to take an opponents piece but not sure if these are english rules or my dads rules, made up so I dont throw a hissy fit following my losing the game.

  2. do you mean BRITISH draughts???, or do the play differently than Scotland or Wales

  3. 1. Yes, a man can take a king.

    2. My grandmother used to huff, saying "Take you for not jumping". Nowadays this is no longer legal. Huffing has been abolished by both the American Checker Federation and the English Draughts Association. Your opponent MUST capture if he or she is able to. Any other move is not legal.

  4. Yes he can take a king

No he can move whichever peice he wants to.  If he only has one move left to make and wont take it then.  You have won the game

  5. A single piece can take a king.

You take his piece if he refuses to take yours.
